 INFORMATION

Contraception & Sexual Health Advice:

Our Practice Nurses and Doctors give advice on all methods of contraception and sexual health matters. Supplies of free condoms are available if required.

Maternity Care:

Please make an appointment to see your Doctor as soon as you think you are pregnant. We aim to provide maternity care in partnership with our practice Midwife and your Doctor.

Minor Surgery:

Procedures for minor surgery are carried out in our well-equipped treatment room by our Doctors and Practice Nurses.

This service at the surgery can often save a long wait for hospital treatment and can often assist with a rapid return to normal work.

Please ask at reception for appointment availability.

Sports Injury Assessment:

Whilst all the Doctors are experienced in assessing sports injuries, Dr Jimmy Lennox has a particular interest in this field.

Travel Advice & Vaccinations:

Our Practice Nurse, Carole Jenner provides a comprehensive Travel Clinic each Tuesday afternoon 4.00pm to 6.00pm.

Carole can provide details of all the risks and considerations relevant to your trip and all the relevant vaccinations and immunisations.

Please try to make your appointment with Carole at least 6 to 8 weeks before you intend to travel. If your appointment is too late, there may not be enough time to complete your vaccination programme, which often has to spread over some days

Charges: - Some travel vaccinations are not available on the NHS and thus are also subject to a charge. Carole will advise you about this at your visit and a list of charges is displayed on the Travel Health notice board in the surgery and also under "Our Charges" in the menu panel on the left hand side of this screen.

Please ask at Reception for details of the current relevant charges.
